My first book, Interpretable Machine Learning, began as a side project in 2017 and eventually evolved into my PhD. Over time, writing books became my full-time work, and I published a couple more before joining SAP in 2026.

I also started Machine Learning for Remote Sensing, a guide to earth observation with satellite data, AI and Python, but it’s on hold indefinitely.
